Somatic Experiencing

Somatic Experiencing is a body-based therapeutic approach that helps resolve trauma and chronic stress by gently working with the nervous system. Rather than focusing only on thoughts or memories, this method supports you in noticing and releasing stored tension and survival responses held in the body. In my practice, I guide clients to safely tune into physical sensations, helping the body complete unresolved stress cycles and return to a state of balance. Somatic Experiencing is often thoughtfully combined with other therapeutic approaches I use, such as clinical hypnosis and talk therapy, to support deeper, more integrated healing. This process can reduce symptoms of anxiety, overwhelm, and trauma while restoring a greater sense of calm, safety, and connection within yourself.
