Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is an evidence-based approach that helps individuals develop greater psychological flexibility by learning to accept difficult thoughts and emotions rather than struggling against them. Instead of trying to eliminate distress, ACT focuses on helping you stay present, clarify your values, and take meaningful action aligned with what matters most. In my therapeutic practice, I use ACT to help clients relate differently to anxiety, intrusive thoughts, and emotional pain-creating space for greater peace, purpose, and resilience. This approach is often integrated with other techniques I use, supporting a well-rounded and personalized path toward lasting change.
